Our Father in Heaven, my prayer tonight is that the requests below, each one, would be within Your Will. Father, we know we are not worthy, You alone are Worthy. I pray we can all do better in our journey to "the end of the path, that which leads to Heaven." Be our Shephard, and lead us Jesus to that place where You are.

Father, for those who have not yet commited to You, I pray they will come with a repentant heart, to Jesus, and say "Thank You Jesus" for what You did for us when You went willingly to the Cross. Lord, save us this day that we may serve only You, and that we may look forward to the "Promises" You make us in Your Word. Salvation be our final desire.... Thank You Jesus! P.S. Lord, may You Love all Your Creation, down to our Loving pets You have put in our lives. We thank You for them, as they are precious to us. Please keep them healthy and happy to enjoy their time with us.

Now Father I would come asking for the hardest thing I see in doing these posts. My own heart is very heavy when I post a request for a young child. From deep in my heart I ask that You make each one appearing within this site conquer whatever illness they may have. Let them have a future of serving You...Amen & Amen

Good Morning!
I wanted to reach out and ask everyone for some special prayers for Billy's younger brother Ryan's best friend/lacrosse teammate from school, Alex Nieves. Alex was diagnosed with Leukemia in December of 2010, started chemo on December 20th and just finished his 8th round on July 22nd. On July 23rd he suffered a huge setback when one of the chemo drugs he was taking caused pancreatitis. He is in the ICU in critical, but stable condition right now. As of yesterday, he was running a fever and has a breathing tube in- and its an hour by hour battle right now..
His mom sent an email out to his friends yesterday -
"I think I mentioned earlier that I wrote down a bunch of words on a sheet of paper for him: ice, pain, legs, itch, back, hot, cold, mom, dad, head, tube, etc. so that he could point to the word when he was trying to communicate something. I gave him the sheet and saw him circle, and circle, and circle one word over and over again and when I looked, he had circled the word "home". So, we head into another day, hoping for more positive changes and fewer setbacks that we know will be a reality- lets pray the process dominates and the setbacks are minimal. If I weren't so tired I would say a prayer of thanks for each of you, but I cant tonight- and it may take a while but its on my list of things to do. Please keep praying, and lets get him back to school and to the sport he loves the most"
Bill and I had the opportunity to meet him when we went down to Maryland for a few of Ryan's games this year and he's a really great kid, with such a positive outlook on life even with as sick as he is.
I know you all have powerful prayers, so please keep Alex in them.

Hey Rhea,
I need you to put my hubby on the prayer list. He's in the Milford ER at the moment with a rapid heart rate. Seems like he's O.K. but their doing tests, most have come back fine. He went for his walk at lunch and his heart rate went up and wouldn't come down. And George like all men didn't tell me until about an hour ago after he got the tests. At least he's canceling his trip to Washington tomorrow. What next????

Good morning dear faithful prayer warriors,
Please lift up my family. It seems one thing after another is piling up adding to our already high stress level. My daughter's wallet was stolen with all of her monthly grocery money, I continue to have much paper work to do following Don's passing, my bank made a typo and it is taking weeks to untangle it (I am now Mrs. TUNER), and most of all several of us are struggling with non-sleep issues, I lost my car keys but was able to find them after much hassle and so it goes on for much of my family. We could use a time of peace and healing at this point. Please pray for God's "grace" and His "Unmerited favor" for myself and my family. We could all use an emotional rest and a period of calm. We are on "over-load" at this point. God is as always faithful but we are emotionally tired and need a rest or as my daughter says...we have not been able to "land yet" after Don's passing. Thank you in advance for your prayers as we know God is the solution! Placing myself and my family in the hands of our dear faithful Provider...

Please pray for Edith.. a sister in Christ who belongs to our Sec. Franciscan Fraternity at St. Ann's in Hoboken NJ....

Edith is close to 100 years old ..I received a message that She fell in her apt on Thursday and wasn't found until Saturday.. I'm not sure of the details..but i think she has a dislocated shoulder ...as you can imagine she was dehydrated ... She was taken to the Hospital , the person who left me a message said the doctors might have to sedate her to help her heal... The concern is her age and the sedation...
Edith is an amazing women ..She is one of the humblest, holiest souls i have ever met...

I know God has His hand on her but I ask for your faithful prayers for healing if it be God's perfect will..
also Edith's takes in dogs that are not going to survive ...this one was also dehydrated ..They said all Edith was concerned about was the dog's health..so please ask for it's healing also and for Edith's peace of mind ...

At Caiden's ears, nose, throat appointment today the Dr. put a scope with a camera down each of his nose holes. It was very unpleasant for him and he let her know. She said that one side has stayed open nicely, but the other side needs to be opened again. He will go back to the O.R. Sept. 6th to have his airways stretched again. The Dr. had warned us that it could take 2 or 3 times. He will have an over night stay again. We will take his portable oxygen with us this time so they can release him after staying 1 night.

Here is a picture of him with fresh tomatoes, and plums from the garden. No, he's not eating any better so please pray for that. We offer him everything, but he doesn't eat any of it.

My daughter had to fire someone at her place of employement.This individual turned around and went to the state and said some terrible things about this place and my daughter. We are currently in negotiations with the state because of serious budget cuts and this is really hurting us. Please pray for my daughter for protection and for her employer. My daughter in no way deserves this scrutiny and she could use all the prays she gets.

Gracious loving God we lift my daughter and her place of employment to You asking for Your protection and mercy. Please be with my daughter during this time and we ask that You open the hearts of the people from the state so they will have understanding and discernment and no fault will be placed upon them. Be with her now and in the future, put Your peace in her heart and Spirit in her soul so she will know You are with her and can feel the strength You are giving her. I am in a no-win situation as far as he goes but I am going to take back my power and take control and move. Please know that my landlord is willing to work on my behalf but I have asked him not to because I don't know what would happen if he did. And since no matter what I do on my own behalf brings no positive results, I am making this decision.

My friend Harriet went into the hospital because of severe back pain. The doctors did tests and said she had a collapsed vertabrea. When they went in to do surgery they found her back full of cancer. Please pray for a young woman named Christie, I do not know her married name. My Mom has been good friends with her mother Karen Lack for years at the church I grew up in. Christie is at most in her early 30's. She is currently pregnant with her 3rd baby. The baby is fine. On one of her ultrasounds they discovered a spot on one of her ovaries. As a result of the biopsy they discovered that she has Stage One Ovarian Cancer. The Ovary has been removed and after the baby is born they will take her other ovary and due a complete hysterectomy. As most of you know Ovarian Cancer can be difficult to treat successfully. Please be in prayer for Christie, her husband and mother along with other family members. Ask the Lord to completely clear her body of any cancer.

Sheri had surgery this morning in SC for a blocked nasal passage. She came home from surgery but is still bleeding and her friend thinks she might need to go back to the hospital.

Trevor (1 yr) went to Dr. this morning and was diagnosed with infection in both ears. However, he has since broken out in a rash all over his body and is in the hospital.

Hello my friends,
I have a prayer request for Alex, my son. As many of you know Alex is completely disabled from a traumatic brain injury that happened in 2003. Because he is unable to move he is very fragile. About a week ago he started having a fever, sneezing, coughing, and moaning (kind of nice to hear his voice). I took him in to see the doctor and she sent us to get x-rays. He did have something in his lung; upper left side.
He is now on an antibiotic, albuterol treatments, and chest percussion therapy- to help loosen phlem. Please pray for a speedy recovery and that on Monday at his follow up appointment the pulmonary specialist gives Alex a clean bill of health. I thank you all!!!

Please pray for Joan , she lives in our development...I found out from her neighbor that she is in very serious condition in ICU.. She ws bitten by a rodent tick which came from one of he field mice in back of her home ( wooded area ) ...supposedly the tick is different from deer ticks...im not really sure but she is not doing well at all ...She just lost her husband not too long ago , now her children are afraid they are going to loose her ....
Please pray for her complete recovery and for her family's peace of mind and hearts... if there is need of conversion , please pray for this first and foremost...

He had a stent-like device placed but it caused problems and had to be removed.. The docs found another tumor on his bladder and another on his kidney and a spot.. the device was to administer chemo to the tumors so now he's saying "what's the use?" Not like Ashley! I told him last night at a Family Night for still another of our members, Jesse Tanner; that ""God is still in the Miracle Business".. and he is.. Please pray for this miracle for Ashley and hold up his beloved and faithful wife Daphne in the name of Jesus. amen and amen

Shirley, I think of you sometimes going up and down those steps. Since I fell down mine from a standing position and hit my head I have not been allowed back up there which is hard because a lot of my stuff is up there. But it's not the same, you have to go.

I have so many problems Shirley, it's hard to sum it up without sounding like a hypochondriac but here goes. I have had a lot of my problems for a long time but I have been able to control them. Now it seems like everything has hit me at once for months now. My worse problem which I can't control is the pulmonary hypertension because it prevents me from moving around because of the breathing which makes everything else hurt worse. All the medicines they have tried I can't take. All the other stuff I will tell you some other time . Thanks for your prayers and I hope Bill gets better which will help you a lot. Got to go take meds, talk to you later.

I am overwhelmed right now with my mom who lives with me and has Alzheimer's. I am actively looking for a place to place my mom that she can afford. I took her to the Dr. yesterday and he suggested it. She has gotten very difficult to take care of, she doesn't listen to what she's told, she was yelling "shut up, shut up, shut up" to my husband when he told her it was time for her to go take a shower, and every morning is a battle. I have 2 medications to put into her food without her knowing and then seeing that she actually eats it. She told my husband she wished he was dead. The Dr. said to put the knives away. This morning I told her something that she needed to do at least 5 times before she actually did it. I don't always have time for that as I have to get myself ready to go to work. I can't tell what she really forgets, or what is a battle of the wills.

For work I have some memorization to do, and presentations to give starting next week that I will be graded on. So I am really on overload. Please cover me in prayer. I can't do this on my own.

5 months ago we hired an attorney to try to keep from loosing our house. We are still "waiting" for an answer and still paying the attorney each moth. We need it to end, and needless to say don't want to lose our house.

Lord - We lift up our sister to You. In her prayer request the emotional pain and exhaustion bleed out with every sentence. There is so much going on in her life and it is too much for her to handle without You. We join with her asking for Your guidance in the decision making that has to occur very soon. That You will guide her hand and mind for the work she has to do right now. Please show them where her mom should live that she be well taken care of in this stage of Alzheimer's. You are a great witness for how they have both been able to work, help family and be caregivers for her mom. Without You they couldn't be doing all that they have been doing in the last year. Lord please hasten the process with the Attorney so that the issue with the house can be finished and they continue living in their home. Amen

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.

While on vacation last week we began to see that it was a bit difficult to understand my daughter Nathalie, she is normally very well articulated and speaks very clearly, we have noticed that her speech is slurred and increased saliva, on Tuesday we took her to Valley Hospital and, all tests blood and CT scans were normal, as a follow up we took her yesterday to her normal pediatrician and she was fine, but today she was again very tired and slurred. I have been praying over her and blessed her with Holy water. Please add us, especially my wife and children to your prayer line.

Karen's situation both with her health and her parents touches me deeply. Karen has had kidney transplant and back problems, and needs another transplant, I believe it will be her fifth. She has had over 20 years of hemo dialysis, her first 3 transplants didn't work. Her 4th transplant lasted 11 years. Then back on dialysis. She has been on dialysis or having transplants for over 30 years (ever since she was 14 years old). Karen's comments about her parents situation are typical of others we receive.
Assistance is limited, and difficult to come by. I fear that the problem of "What do we do with the old folks" will only worsen as time goes by.

Hello Everyone,
I think in one of my emails I had stated about $4000.00 for mom and dad to be at a nursing home, that was the assistant living place, which their Alzheimer's is too bad for them to stay at, we did try it. It is 10,000. 00 to 11,000. 00 a month for a nursing home, lock down, so they can't escape, lol.. we don't have that kind of money, Neither does mom and dad, their pot of gold is about out now. Trying to get them on Medicaid and some VA assistance, can be a year or more till they could get anything from them. Won't even know till then if they will get any help. We have their house to sell, but can't sell it now, as they need a place to live. None of us have the room for mom and dad, plus everyone is working or having dialysis during the day. They can't be left alone, especially in someone else's home, it would be turned upset down by the time they got home. Mom goes through everything, puts stuff places and can't find it again. Closets are all messed up, etc... We found her bottom teeth, when taking the bed apart, under the mattress, lol.. under bed, desk drawers, etc... In their home there is limited stuff to mess with. The house now has only necessities in it. Furniture is just what is needed.

So you see how we need some help with Adult sitting.

I give you all a bit of advise, If your loved ones are not on Medicaid or have other assistant, if they need a nursing home one day, you will need about $5,000. 00 or more a month a person. So get your money in order for caring for your loved ones now. Another thing is get a lawyer to help with putting their affairs in order. A Lawyer that specializes in that kind of stuff. We had a lawyer that didn't specialize in it, so things didn't get fixed up the way they should of been. I hope no one ever has to go through what we are now. But sorry to say, some of you will. Don't think having medicare will cover, it won't. You need cash or some kind of assistance. If there is no assistance now, it will take months, yrs. to get it. You better have lots of money on hand. Please...if you live in the Mountain Home area of Arkansas, pass the word around about adult sitting, for mom & dad. Maybe between them and me, Chuck and Norman we can have pretty much around the clock watching over them till we can get them into a place, that will be a year or more most likely. If you don't live in our area, please pray for us. Please pass the word around at your churches, emails, etc... people need to be aware that this can happen in their families too. The golden years aren't always golden.

Heading out the door for the day, or much of it. Appreciate your prayers. I’m heading to my colon therapist—last time. I have had colon / stomach issues from early childhood. And she has helped. I will miss my friend. And I will miss the colonics. I’m grieving. I have a lot of other running around to do today, though. Earl tends to get anxious in traffic, so I appreciate your prayers for his peace. We are going to be looking at wood-stoves. We cashed in our one little investment (the last) and want to get one in before it starts getting cold again.. Thank you for your prayers, dear friend. Our daughter Charity had a bad day yesterday. So prayers are appreciated for her, as well. Next week should be worse. The problem is that most of her coworkers don’t know what they are doing or don’t care to do anything at all. More and more responsibility comes onto her shoulders along with having to battle these coworkers. She had to spend much of the morning yesterday, for example, trying to convince a coworker that what he wanted to do with something just would not work. It is difficult for her because people just don’t care and just don’t really have the work ethic that she has. So, those over her keep adding more and more onto her shoulders because they know that she can get things done. She needs a new job. Bless you! ~Gayle Anderson

I'm asking for your faithful prayers to cover our son John, daughter in law and there 4 Angel Girls ..They will be traveling for a long weekend to attend a dear friend's daughters wedding , then on the way back visiting with relatives... They plan on being back home by Tuesday...

Please pray for safety on the road for all traveling...and for calm weather as they travel both to and from their destinations..

Needless to say they are looking forward to be with friends and family for a few days....

Couple in desperate situation, and their unborn babies

Dear Prayer Warriors, Blue Ridge Prayer Warrior Janet has a prayer request for her granddaughter in law and grandson that needs your urgent attention as it is on a deadline. The couple were happy when Dana became pregnant for the third time. They found out it was with twins and were really happy. Yesterday that joy was overturned by a new ultrasound that the doctor said is showing one of the twins umbilical cord is not in the right place. It's heart is strong and it's intestines are alright as of now, even though at 4½ months gestation it is smaller than the other twin. The doctor wants to abort that baby because it would not receive the proper nutrition to develop properly to full term. The parents are devastated. The doctor has given them only 4 days to decide. Please, pray for this couple that they hold tight to their faith and make the right decision as God so leads them

Good Morning,

I have a Prayer Request for my Chiropractor, Dr. Frank Costa.

He's been having multiple health problems for the past year or two.

First, he had a problem with his eyesight and a detached retina.

Then, he had Bells Palsy. His face was paralyzed for months.

Around a month or so ago, he went on vacation with his family to the Bahamas, and rented a wetsuit to go scuba diving, and when he came back, he noticed a rash on the back of his leg.

Then he got a high fever and was rushed to the hospital. He found out that he had a "flesh-eating" disease on his leg and had to have a huge portion of skin removed because these flesh eating diseases do not respond to antibiotics.

Please lift him up in prayer to be fully and completely healed, as well as Salvation. (amen)

He was born and raised a Catholic, but he is searching now.

He was working on evacuation of our things so he could go help people in our community.
Kenny has been a Border Patrol agent and now ICE agent.
He was involved in a terrible accident when he was relocating his guns a shotgun accidentally discharged and he was shot in the abdomen......
His injuries are very severe and he is critically wounded. He is in the ICU at UMC. Medical Center.
He is a well respected and loved agent of our community and always tries to do the right thing.

In the midst of all this the fire came through our property an we had damage, but our house is still standing. There is a lot on our plate and could really use many, many prayers. Could you please pass along the information and ask for prayers. For Kenny and his doctors?

NOTE FROM CHERYL
My mom suffered a stroke and has been in the hospital since Sunday night. She had moderate Alzheimers but was functioning well alone at her house, taking her meds, warming up meals for herself and caring for her two cats. Then last week she started getting worse with the memory and her walking deteriorated more than it had. Saturday she said she was tired, had no energy and couldn't get anything accomplished. Sunday she sounded horrible, didn't remember we were picking her up to come over for a cookout and said she felt lousy. A half hour later she called and said she was hungry and could I bring her a peanut butter sandwich. I knew something wasn't right and we went over and found she was very disoriented. I discovered she hadn't given herself insulin all day Saturday nor had she taken her pills. We called 911 and 9 hours later they discovered she had had a stroke on the right side and the brain was bleeding. Only her memory was affected, they said, although I think her walking was affected too. She will go from the hospital to a rehabilitation center for 4-6 weeks. I don't know when that will happen so that causes me stress. I need prayers that she will recover enough to go home even if she needs a Home Health aide. Everything seems to happen at once. My hubby had cataract surgery and can't see so well, he has back and shoulder problems. I still worry about my Bogeycat, who with all those good prayers from before, at only 7.6 pounds (from 9 pounds) is still alive!!! I have a root canal in my immediate future and I have a mysterious pain on my right side which I probably should get checked after we get my Mom settled and WELL!!!!!! Anyway, I will keep you posted. It is with bitter sweet emotions that I update you on my late husbands step dad, Emil Antilla 86 years of age. Emil went on to be with the Lord early Sunday morning at 12:45 am. I got a call to help with 5 kittens. 3 were gotten and went to foster care, then another 5 days later. I set a trap for the last one, but it did not go in and the lady will give no more time to rescue it. Pray that it will emerge from under the house and that the lady's heart will soften towards cats. I hate to give up on any animal, but I cannot go in the back yard without permission. The mom went to the pound and I do not know if she can be saved. A friend of mine was just diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Her daughter is 20 years old and is devastated. They are so private that I am not using their names. They have a half finished house in Port Hueneme and desperately need a refrigerator. The program they thought would help will not give her one unless there is one to take away, even if non working. so if you know of such a fridge or even have and old one that works that she could have, at least they could have fresh food. Of course, they need healing and the daughter needs Jesus along with her mom. they are both very nice folks but have had anything you can think of go wrong in the last 6 years. ~Sheila

My Bill is suffering with his ankles, feet, and both wrists. He cannot walk very much so he sits most of the time and his oxygen gets low. He has interstitial fibroses in his lungs. Bill was in the military--Air Force-- over 20 years. He is in pain every minute of the day. He cannot have surgery that is needed for his feet and ankles because he would have to stay off his feet for 8 weeks. Doctors do not want to risk that.

There is a serious fire in Alpine and Nutrioso, Arizona. It’s called the Wallow fire, which swept down from the ridge above Alpine: http://www.azcentral..com/news/articles/2011/06/03/20110603arizona-wildfire-alpine-wallow-horseshoe-fires-abrk.html It has burned 100,000 acres, and it is growing. The winds are bad. Sustained winds 15-25 (there). We’re about an hour away. Our area is very dry, as well.
There is a rumor—too believable—that the government is going to let this fire burn itself out despite too many ranches and homes in its path. The attitude, increasingly, is that people shouldn’t live in rural areas anyway.

Earl and I are planning on taking off in a bit for a meeting (an hour away) to deal with the sustainability / United Nations issue. Apparently, our county has already bowed to the government’s will. But now the homeowners—as people are starting to find out about this—are seeking ways to blunt its impact. We appreciate your prayers as we go forward with this.

Also, Earl has the service tomorrow night and ongoing Sunday nights. Thank you for your prayers. He’s one busy guy… Thank you. Paul Baird and his family

Pat Greene just called and Paul Baird, her father, has been hospitalized, he is in Community Memorial Hospital. Paul has been very ill for the last nine months and has been in and out of the hospital numerous times. This time he had pneumonia and a stage 3 bed sore. He is in an incredible amount of pain and on morphine.
Paul's doctor will be transfering him into a convelescent facility tomorrow. Please pray that there will be a room available for him at the Venturan Convalescent Center in Ventura.. Pray also for release from pain..and that God's will be done. Pray for strength and peace of mind for Pat, and the rest of his family.

It's here! Hurricane season starts today and it already has brought us some rain from a tropical system. This system will continue to bring us showers and thunderstorms throughout the day and then go over the Gulf where it may develop further into a tropical depression.

i had a car accident on Friday .....never realized the damage that can be caused even if you do not hit your body in any way....body twists because of impact on the back and knees...ligaments, cartilage...and the trauma of it...ouch! nothing serious we pray....

Would you all pray for me. My shoulders have been hurting for awhile. I can't hardly lift them and I'am trying to stay off of pain killers right now. I guess you could pray for the headaches, they are @ the base of my head on the right side. Doctor is trying to find out why, possible arthritis in the neck or it could be what they call rebound headaches. Please pray.
Praise report I have lost 40lbs and I'am only on 10 units of insulin. I don't take a shot in the morning anymore. The blood pressure is staying down YEA!

Keep Don's family in prayer as his oldest brother (Paul) is going down hill
in a hurry. I think he is tired and perhaps wants to take his place beside
his precious wife in heaven. I don't know that for sure but I sense that.
This is going to be a tough one for the family as he has pretty much been
the rock for all of us. And too he is the oldest child of five.

Their mother. was widowed when my husband was just six months old leaving it up to him to help his mother make the living for the rest of the
younguns. Please pray that God's perfect will be done.

The doctor immediately put him in the hospital this morning following his
visit to him. When I receive an update I will let everyone know.

Our state is having great financial difficulties and due to those difficulties people with developmental disabilities are going to be affected. Please pray that agencies that want to provide services needed continue to have the means and the people with developmental disabilities to have God's hedge of
protection. This will keep them safe and well. In addition, preserve the roles of many who make their living by selflessly caring for these special people.

Gracious loving heavenly Father God, we lift all Your special children to You that are in a precarious situation right now and those people that provide services for them. Those faithful servants of Yours that care, love and provide a life for these special children so they can have a quality of life that is
worthwhile and deserving of them. You know all this loving God because You know all things. You know these cuts will paralyze these agencies that are providing these services for Your special children.

We pray merciful God You will consider all these special children of Yours and those that provide services and protect everyone. Financial needs need to be considered all the way around and we ask Your mercy and grace for all considered. You are a fair and loving God and we put our trust in You for all things. I have a prayer request for Belle and Dan Lewis. They attended Emmanuel years ago and we have stayed friends and in contact with them since they moved from Mtn. Home. She was at one time the church secretary and our piano player and both of their children attended the school at Emmanuel.

Dan had a serious heart attack 18 years and by-pass surgery. He is now in the Memphis hospital with another heart attack and his by-pass grafts blocked and he is scheduled to have his second by-pass on tuesday. The doctors have told him and his family that this will be a much longer surgery than the first by-pass and very delicate and being diabetic will only complicate the procedure; so please lift them and their family up in prayer as they face this uncertain time. WE know our God is able!

I have had ongoing bladder issues for some time. Today, it went full blown into MAJOR pain, the urgency, etc. Miserable. I also got so sick to my stomach. I feel feverish. This all hit BANG. Earl came home about the same time and was so sick, as well. It just hit him BANG, too.

Earl and I planned to leave first thing in the morning for our daughter’s home. We believe she needs some encouragement right now. And both Earl’s and my laptops are having some major issues that we hope she can solve. I think he needs a new power cord. I’m unsure on mine…

Thank you for your prayers for us both. We are also going to have someone house-sitting for us. Dan is looking forward to this time of just getting away from it all and spending time with the Lord. So, we don’t wish to mess with that, either. I debated hard emailing this in, but I think we’re under attack and only the enemy wouldn’t want me to request your prayers, I figure. Thank you. Please pray for my Mom. She has pneumonia in one lobe of her right lung. She is at home on strong anti-biotics. She just turned 80 last week so her age makes it more concerning. When I talked to her on the phone yesterday she didn't sound good at all. Pray for her recovery and for wisdom on her part whether she is up to the family picnic this weekend. My brothers and I are ready to cancel but she is insisting she will be better by Sunday because that is the last day she takes her anti-biotics. Please play for Charles Normile, the grandson of my good friend Larry Grayson. Larry Grayson is the head of PRO-LIFE for the Maryland State Knights of Columbus and his wife Mary Susan is also a tenacious PRO-LIFER. Their grandson Charles is two years old. He is a twin and one of five children in his family. Last Saturday, he climbed a four-foot fence and fell into a pool. He has been in a coma ever since. Doctors say that the next few days are critical. Prayers are essential at this point.

Jim received the following message from a friend. Please pray for the family and other survivors of the storms, ~Harriet

Dear Friends,
I just got done talking to our daughter who lives and works in Joplin.
My daughter, Faith, was at work when the tornado hit, she works at Freeman hospital. She had to wait for at least four hours to find out if her family was alright. She finally was able to get away to try to check on them and found their house leveled. After some time word came to her that her husband and the two children had been able to crawl out of the wreckage and they are now at a relatives house. Her husband was banged up but no other injuries. The only possession left is one car (that was at Freeman hospital).
Praise the Lord for his mercy to our daughter and her family!
It appears they can handle their immediate financial needs until their insurance settlement.

I'm asking prayer for the new minister we heard today and for our church and its future decision to call a new minister.. Our beloved pastor of 17 years, Tommy Palmer went home to Heaven (as you all know) on Good Friday.. I told this young man I would send out a request for prayer for him.. He is forty seven years old and had a wonderful sermon today and was super with the kids.. I especially loved to hear him speak and I could hear him plainly with his great voice and sensed his love for Jesus. As you know I am hearing impaired and struggle with sermons lots of times!
I pray he is interested in a permanant position but he will let the Lord lead!

My niece Lysa who tumbled down a flight of stairs needs continued prayer. Her foot apparently is improving. But her hand may require much more work. Their finances are seriously stressed with all this…

My friend Christina got her machine up and running apparently. But she has been out of work for close to three weeks, so her finances are a mess, as well.

Earl’s sister Janet’s mother-in-law is about to be removed from life support. I know nothing about her—not even her name. This is very difficult for Janet and her husband Randy, as you can imagine. I don’t think either of them knows the Lord. Janet has been caring for Earl’s mother, who refuses to leave her home to live with one of her children. Huge amounts of stress upon Janet and Randy.

Another niece, Stephanie, is due to have her baby on July 4th. She was at the hospital at last word because it is possible she is going into labor. Please pray for Stephanie and her little girl.

Also, and this will seem so small compared to the rest… Earl and I have been trying to get more independent of the grocery store because the commute is difficult and our funds are low. I planted probably between two and three hundred seeds several weeks ago and not one plant came up or lasted more than a couple days. We have been trying all kinds of different things. Earl built a net wall around the entire garden (huge undertaking), and I just planted probably another two hundred seeds. We appreciate your prayers that God will provide for us. Dear Family and Friends:
thank you for all your love and support and prayers .
John is still doctoring 5 sores on his leg and fourth of a foot(no toes) that is his leg for pivoting to transferring,can stand only a few seconds on it.
Pooja is still fighting her infection and waiting to hear on new hearing aids......and got her c-pap for her shallow breathing. It will take time to get used to it. first nite she had it on for one hour and last nite she had it on for 7 hours which is great . It has a memory board in it that we will have to take to the doctors and they will be able to tell when she wore it, how long she wore it etc..........
I have been busy baking with the help of John and Pooja as
Uncle Bill arrives tomorrow around 6 p.m. so keep him in your prayers for safe travels he will leave around 3 a.m. and drive straight thru. and will spend the next 2 weeks with us and many family and friends will be in and out and we will be going to cook outs etc......soooooooooo I WON'T BE ON HERE VERY MUCH...MAINLY FOR PRAYER REQUEST AND PERSONAL EMAILS. I will keep you all in my prayers and thanks for understanding... there may be days I won't even be on too.............as we celebrate my birthday and our 29th anniversary.
