My Prayer Each Night

Our Father in Heaven, my prayer tonight is that the requests below, each one, would be within Your Will. Father, we know we are not worthy, You alone are Worthy. I pray we can all do better in our journey to "the end of the path, that which leads to Heaven."  Be our Shephard, and lead us Jesus to that place where You are.

Father, for those who have not yet commited to You, I pray they will  come with a repentant heart, to Jesus, and say "Thank You Jesus" for what You did for us when You went willingly to the Cross. Lord, save us this day that we may serve only You, and that we may look forward to the "Promises" You make us in Your Word. Salvation be our final desire.... Thank You Jesus!   Amen...bill m & Harriet W.

P.S. Lord, may You Love all Your Creation, down to our Loving pets You have put in our lives. We thank You for them, as they are precious to us. Please keep them healthy and happy to enjoy their time with us.

Now Father I would come asking for the hardest thing I see in doing these posts. My own heart is very heavy when I post a request for a young child. From deep in my heart I ask that You make each one appearing within this site conquer whatever illness they may have. Let them have a future of serving You...Amen & Amen

Update: Just got home from being with Meredith all day...

Joey is home, but in a LOT of pain. He has to go back to his PCP for an x-ray of his hip next week because they could not determine whether he had a break or not. Please continue to pray for his recovery and pray for Meredith as she cares for him at home. If he is not able to keep liquids down he will have to go back to the ER.

Carolyn Jackson (My Niece) is in SRMC It happened Thursday August 26, She called me and her son. She felt weak and dizzy. Her son called 911 and we all got there at the same time. She was real weak on he right side and was drawing to that side. Got her to the hospital and she regained her strength. Put her in Neuro everything came back except her swallowing. Moved her Monday night around 11pm to 8 tower room 820. By 8am they went in to check on her and she had another stroke. Her right side, she can't move and having trouble talking. But she is very aware and alert. Having trouble with her secretions. Having to suction her at times. Did a bronchoscopy today. Think they are going to put a peg tube into her stomach for feeding tomorrow. Please keep her in yours prayers.

Tuesday Scotty mowed the lawn, and seem tired but otherwise fine. Wednesday morning he got up with a stiff back, and some pain. He went on to his class in LA, but when he got home he could hardly stand. He just gets worse, now he is using a cane for the first time ever. Trying to get a prescription for muscles and pain. Also trying to get him a Dr. appt. Please keep him in your prayers.

Couple in need of prayer

This couple is very special to me.
He has a physical problem which I am not at liberty to discuss at this time, which has taken on toll on him emotionally and physically, something he denies and cannot fully understand.
Unfortunately, It also has taken a toll on his wife emotionally, physically as the demands increase.
Asking for prayers for both of these special people for their continued faith, love in one another, strength for his wife and comfort when she needs it.

Please pray for my friend Janice, she fell as she was leaving her RV last Tuesday and broke her right arm in six places. Surgery was performed on Thursday, an external fixator was attached to the bones in her arm. She will have to wear the device for six weeks, and then have rehab therapy. Please pray for healing and that no infections develop. Pray also that she will adapt to the weight of the fixator and that there will be minimal stress involved with wearing the device.

Please, I ask all to pray for this young man, who seems to have withdrawn more lately. Cannot go into details, He has been depressed in the past and it worries me greatly.

Lord I ask you to take him into your arms and let him the safety there, to feel like he is someone special, in your eyes, like the prince that he is , that you created in your image.
Bring him back to the altar of the Eucharist, The blood that you shed for us, to save us.

"If God brings you to it.....He will bring you through it"...

I thank God for all of your prayers and support leading up to today....I love that saying..."If God brings you to it...He will bring you through it"...and so today when we received news from the oncologist that was not exactly what we wanted to hear, those words rang true..
The doctor told us that Dave's "tumor marker" or "m-spike" as it is referred to in the medical world, had doubled since April....this is a huge indication of the cancer being back....in this case though, the oncologist believes it is the bone marrow cancer, called "myeloma" and maybe not the non-Hodgkins lymphoma that is rearing its ugly head.....this cancer would be a more aggressive form and so those words were hard to hear....also, he said that the fact that in the past nine months Dave's platelets have fallen pretty low is another indication of bone marrow failure. Dave also has the bleeding disorder to deal with also, the hemophilia, which complicates everything just a little more...Bone marrow biopsy is scheduled for October 4th as it was 3 weeks out anyway and since we are going to be back down to Phoenix by then, we asked if we could just make it on the 4th. So, the waiting game begins...lol..again....

He was very concerned and even suggested that we stay "close to home and close to family"...so that is God's guidance and wisdom that we needed to hear as to where we would live. So, on September 23rd, we will leave the beautiful pinetop mountains of Prescott Valley (Dewey) and pull into our "home base" in Surprise at the SunFlower RV resort.....we are completely okay with this....we can come back up to Prescott anytime. Thank you for "standing in the gap" with us as we battle these fleshly bodies of ours...we could not do this without all of you. We are okay right now but a little weary....nothing we can't handle with our family, friends and the Lord at our side... Again..God bless you for loving us so much and praying...please continue the prayers...no matter what, we do not question HIS will for Dave's life and mine. Smooches to all....Barbie

John called to let me know he had to take his wife Lynn tot he hospital bc she was having chest and arm pain....They did an ekg and chest xray and the ER doctor said as far as he could see it was not a heart attack , Thank God, but was believed it was stress related...

Even though we are blessed with a deep faith and trust in God our flesh still reacts to difficult situations....
Lynn and John live very humbly serving God & His Church...
There is only one income coming in bc they both felt led that she should home school their children.... The choices they have made, like many young couples who live in God's will, have not been easy ... But they are aware of the sacrifices they know our dear Lord would not give them more then they could handle....

So please pray for them and all young couples trying to live their lives pleasing God... Pray they are given peace of minds and hearts in all situations ...and that they are blessed with continued strength to walk the walk ...tirelessly guiding their Children on the same road...

From my daughter: I had to climb all over a 25 foot roof in the sun today to try to get some dish antennas installed. Pray for me as I’m sunburned, blistered, scraped up, bug bitten, and dehydrated {guzzling water like crazy]—and have a headache from the sun.
From me: I just called her. She has a really bad headache, and she thinks it was a spider that bit her. She is keeping an eye on the site. She plans to soak it in colloidal silver when she gets home. She has more work to do, so I thought I’d stir up some prayer for her. I also encouraged her to pick up some Echinacea on the way home, but she may be too sick and just head for home and bed. At a cook out today at the Andrew's house, I was speaking with Yvonne (called Bonnie.) In May her mom passed on, then in June her husband died. Seems we got on the subject of God. I mentioned to her to trust God that God was always with her and she was saying she did not feel that way. She

Good morning dear faithful prayer warriors:
I come to once again and lift up my special daughter, Zanna. She has a 30 year complicated medical history which includes a combined auto immune disorder, Lupus, Crohn's and Myelodysplastic Syndrome. She just called from the ER and she has a temp of 103, sever chest pain, vomiting etc. She has pneumonia and a possible kidney infection. She is almost certain that she will be admitted. Please pray that the Lord blesses the doctors with wisdom as her Myelodysplastic Syndrome is easily complicated with other health problems and medications. Of course she feels terrible! Please join Don and I praying for a "complete" healing and an outpouring of God's grace for she and her family. It is necessary for her 2 children and her grandson to live with Zanna and Terry....so the house is crowded and a bit more "germy". Please pray for God's protection for Zanna's fragile health. Thank you in advance for your prayers. Putting Zanna and her family in the hands of the only true doctor and healer, our Gracious Savior Lord Jesus.

My brother, Gary had to be taken to St. Joseph--London, Ky, this morning by ambulance due to a vastly swollen left leg. A sono-gram showed a blood clot in his leg. He was admitted so that medications to break-up the clot could be administered every 12 hours. Please keep Gary & his concerned family in prayer. Please pray for Rhonda's mom who asked to be put on the prayer list; she has been ill several weeks now and was finally diagnosed with pneumonia. Despite several weeks of antibiotics, she still remains very week and just can't seem to shake the illness. Please pray that she can recover her strength and get well soon.

Thanks for all the prayers for Don Baker. He is just finishing up with his chemo and radiation. He is very weak, but his breathing is doing a little better. He goes this week for tests to see if there has been any improvement and if the chemo and radiation have killed the cancer. Betty wanted to thank everyone for their prayers and asks that everyone pray especially now for Don to receive a good report. I will update when they hear from the latest testing. My mother in law is doing better. She is paralized on her left side from the stroke she went home yesterday. Praise God! She will be doing therapy at home. She still needes pray for her home. Hello, dear family and friends.

As most of you know, Earl took over the executive directorship of New Hope Ranch, a domestic abuse organization of five homes. Largely, this nonprofit has been supported financially by government grants. But God, for reasons we may one day understand, is tying the government funds into knots. To get these grants one has to spend the money first then seek reimbursement. The government hasn’t been reimbursing the ministry in a timely manner. Indeed, they are months late, placing the entire ministry in jeopardy. One prayer request is that Earl offered today to resign and work as a volunteer in order not to get the ministry into legal trouble for their lack of paying him. Another major need is that their financial computer is dying and could go at any moment, and no funds to replace it. What Earl and I would like to see is the ministry be weaned off of government support since they have created, in our opinion, no end of trouble for all. And there are restrictions placed on the nonprofit in terms of how it should be run. In other words, although Christians are running the nonprofit, they can’t run it as a Christian organization. We understand that many of you are on fixed incomes, helping family, and have your own organizations to support. But we thought we would at least make the need known for those who could help. No pressure. Prayer is the greatest need right now. Earl and I both feel that the ministry should close its doors if God does not provide through his people in some way. The newest member of the Anderson family. He’s a bit timid so it wasn’t easy to get a picture of him. But I didn’t hear any mice last night. I am fairly sure they are gone from inside of the house. Probably will take me another week to finish cleaning up all the mess, though. (I’m taking this slow—washing everything.) But our big concern is under the house. “Kenny” is a good mouser, though. And after we keep him inside for a couple weeks we hope to introduce him to the outside. He’s been an outdoor cat for years, so staying inside is an adjustment for him. And keeping him inside is an adjustment for me. The dogs (outdoor dogs in the back) are VERY unhappy. They don’t like this interloper AT ALL. Please pray that all will go well and for my allergies. URGENT! my 7 y/o G'daughter in ER w/possible massive infection

My seven year old granddaughter, Kylie, has had an extremely high temperature since Tuesday, running as high as 104.3º. At a clinic visit last night, they tho't she had a urinary tract infection, altho' she has never displayed any cardinal symptoms such as burning, pain, frequency, urgency, or blood in the urine. She has had very bad pains in her stomach, throwing up and has a bit of a non-productive cough. She hasn't been able to keep down the tylenol nor has she eaten anything except dry waffles in 3 days. She is sipping on Sprite, but the cold seems to bother her tummy more. Her temperature has still been as high as 102.4º, so my son has her at the hospital right now where they are doing a number of tests to find out if something else is going on. The blood work revealed a very high white count (signs of an infection), the ultrasound was "inconclusive" and they just repeated the urine test (no results yet.) They are planning to do a CT scan to see if they can get a clearer image of her abdomen. depending on what they see, they may do some kind of surgery (appendix??) to finally find the cause of her illness. Please pray for sweet Kylie! She is my treasure and I am trusting her to God right this minute! Thank you and God bless!

We are having problems with the Little Rock doctors about the last set of tests. Talked with them yesterday was suppose to call and talk with my doctor here and than call me back last night. The phone call never came. Did some checking up here and found out that they never called the doctors office here. Doctor here re-faxed the test results today to them and they did go through ok. Pray that this gets straighten out and we start getting answers, also we found out that I cannot handle any long drive it made me sick with the headaches and fatigue again, along with bothering my stomach. I need some answers.

My dear friends,
Please lift up my husband's uncle who was severely burned in an freak accident on Saturday. He burned 50% of his body from the waist up. He is 72 years old and does not know the Lord. The doctors at Jackson Memorial Hospital told the family to expect the worse given his age and other health issues. One of the female doctors on Sunday even told the family to pray for him; that prayer and a miracle were the only thing that would save him. And I say, "Amen! We serve a powerful and merciful God who will show Himself mighty in all circumstances, according to His perfect will!" This is my mom-in-law's only brother and she is a strong believer. Family relations have always been strained and difficult, but when my mom-in-law became a believer, the Lord did a miracle in her heart and she has forgiven all the hurt of the past and has been praying for him and his family for years now. When I spoke to my mom-in-law last night, her faith and trust in our Lord are strong. Our prayers and hope in Christ is that Berto (and his two grown sons; his wife is already a believer) will come to know the Lord above and beyond everything else. Amen? Please pray with me that this family will see the glory of God through this situation, and those who don't know Him personally, will come to know the Lord we love and serve. Thank you.

Just got home from my check up with the Gastronoligists,He says I have a
tumor in small bowl and also there could be lil bleeders they are called in
small intestine,I will continue on my vitamin therapy with a couple more
added,and that is it and stay with my Oncologists,as he says he is very
good,they will do nothing unless my counts go lower & I need transfusions,so
you see I am doing the right thing for now,I am very tired and he says &
will be and can get more tired,so we try to find more foods with more iron
in them to as they will help in a day he says.He says keep my hobby as that
all helps with the pain I have with all I have wrong,So keep the prayers

Helen...please pass on.....today around 10:30am I was out in the heat on a ladder washing the front of the RV down and I lost my balance and fell...I hit cement and gravel..fell about 5 feet....smacked down on my left side (my bad hip side with osteoporosis)....and my whole left side all scraped up...been in the ER all day...they did about 15 xrays....no fractures, praise God, anywhere but he said my left hip does have significant osteoporosis and that I was very lucky and not to get on a ladder again ! I took a little nap but woke up to severe, severe neck pain and pressure...whiplash type pain...and I'm just miserable...we never made it up to Dewey obviously....anyway..please keep me in your prayers....love to all..Barbie

My granddaughter Cassandra needs prayer desperately to help her through a tremendous tragedy with a mother who has been Cassie's friend since grade school. Both women are service men's wives and both husbands are deployed. From what information was given, the family lived in San Diego in military housing. They had a german shepherd mix who they had had about six months. The four children were in an upstairs bedroom and mom was sleeping on the couch. The dog attacked and mauled to death the 21/2 year old boy.
A 7, 5, and 3 year old witnessed the attack. The scene was so bloody and the children so hysterical they were taken away by DHS. No criminal charges was filed. Cassandra is in shock for her friend. I finally got to into the doctor yesterday about my left eye. I was worried it might be blood...well, it isn't....it is a long string of protien attatched to the center of my retina?
They said as long as it just sits there all is not to worry. The only concern does not happen often....it can pull the retina away. Gave me things to watch for and I go back in a few weeks for check up.....It is smack dab in the center of my field of vision, is large and very irritating. The surgery to remove it is dangerous so one chooses to get used to it. Said to keep an eye on my vision...any changes get back in.

Hi Grannybuns, I have another request for my grandsons, Ryen and Mason. Ryen pulled his hamstring on Monday at football practice. He is on the Freshman team at Buena High School and was suppose to be first string. Ryen is 14 and will be going to Foothill Tech High School and is such an amazing good kid. Since Foothill doesn’t have an athletic program, he gets to play for Buena. This really means a lot to him, so I am asking for everyone to join me in prayer, that in the name of Jesus, that Ryen’s leg would be healed!!!

For Mason, who is 9, he had a really bad headache on Monday, which we believe was a migraine. Since both my daughter and I get migraines, this is not good for such a little guy to start getting them at such a young age. He also is playing football, so not sure, if it has to do with putting a tight helmet on his head. My daughter is divorced and the boys dad is not very compassionate about either of the boys pains. Please pray in the name of Jesus, for Mason to be healed from migraines and that their dad would have a more compassionate heart, since he has them 50% of the time.

Just wanted to let you both know that Dad will be having surgery today on his shoulder, @ 1:30 at Methodist Willowbrook. He took a fall about a month ago, and tore his rotator cuff (I think that's what he called it), tore the muscle away from the shoulder. They really did not want to do the surgery because of his age, and cant guarantee fixing it. But the pain is not getting any better, and he is not able to use his left arm at all. Dad has decided to give surgery a try, as he is too active for this to be holding him down. Pray for his blood pressure to stay down, its been high lately and he was not able to get cleared for surgery right away because of it. Also pray for his diabetes, that it stays in check after surgery. I will be headed to the hospital with dad, and will let you know how it goes after surgery.

Baby Jake will be having his surgery on his foot on Nov. 22, they have not set a time yet for that, but will keep you informed on that one.

Dawn has asked for prayers for her precious, " BOO," her German Shepard

(don't know if Boo looks like this or not but such a pretty picture).
He will be having surgery on Thursday, and she is concerned.
She loves this pet a lot, as we all know how precious they are to us.
Lord guide the Vet to perform the surgery successfully, without complications, so BOO may return home to Dawn as playful and loving as before.

Dear Warriors, My daughter Chelsea's fiance Westly went to a job interview this morning for a machinist job. He is anxiously awaiting for the answer this afternoon and is beside himself. They are attemping to establish a secure home for their future and the future of their family. This young man is a sober and serious person and not a believer. Dear Family and Friends.
We are working on lots of paper work for Pooja's disability to all go thru. We had asked for appeal to go before a judge. But God blesses us with an attorney. He ruled fully favorable. It is in progress and will take several weeks.
Upon getting his papers it has been very hard for Pooja to read a lot of what has been said but is the reason for her disability and will clear up for you who wonder why her?
The DDS doctor we saw twice and he took special test especially of her lungs...they were abnormal, and she failed them also due to her psoriasis, arthritis, copd, liver disease, dermatitis, diabetes, dyspnea. Dyspnea: Difficult or labored breathing; shortness of breath. Dyspnea is a sign of serious disease of the airway, lungs, or heart) this would compromise her ability to work a full day. He also said that her past history of TB, or asthma, respiratory capacity is small.. she has small lungs and shortness of breath. The overweight is due to long term steroids for her psoriasis. She is a very weak claimant he said. He also said with all these conditions the evidence that demonstrates that there is no other work she could do given the significant numbers in the national economy...no jobs for her (she has always hoped to have some kind of a job even if on the computer but that door was closed to her also. So we feel God opened the window for her disability.
Dr Ron statement that carried a lot of weight as he has treated her since day one..said she is not viable candidate for any job at this time due to combinations of her psoriasis, diabetes, respiratory ailments, speech/hearing impediments and other medical issues.(we have been fighting a psoriasis /chronic infection for 11 months now.)She will be on medication indefinitely and the long-term prognosis is not very positive in this case ( these were hard words for her to read) because there is no medical background of her biological parents... we do not know just what is coming down the road. She has scars on her body that no one knows what happened to her. I know some of you who know her personally may have thought she is a very healthy looking girl... well
This should help you to understand we have been having a lot of stressful things about her and trying to help her. People do not realize when some one is hearing impaired ( and she has gotten much worse) they do not take time to repeat to her...she will ask me later ..what did so and so say? and yes she fears of being deaf in the near future..unless God gives her a miracle. so many things we take for granted......she is a blessing to us and has and will help us as I need a second person to help with John in so many ways......no one realizes...so for those who may have made some misjudging of her ...I hope this helps you to understand her life is and has not been easy.All the surgeries (14) she has had to have....She is a child of God and we will help her in any way as long as God lets us here on earth...She is our blessing from Mother Teresa whose birthday is August 26,1910 and we thank her in Heaven from the bottom of our hearts and we thank God as He knew we would need some one and she too would need some one until her handsome prince may come some day...so her dreams she had for herself have been wiped away ....So step back a minute and thank God for your good health...say a prayer for her...thanks. It is all in God's hands and plans and we have to trust in Him and take one day at a time.

Satan is trying to slip in and cause division and upset in the ministry and to tear down what has been accomplished. There has been too much sweat and tears put in to the work of the Lord for this to happen. We want all of you to stop whatever you’re doing right now & join with us in prayer that God’s will and ONLY GOD’S WILL be done in all the ministries across the land.There needs to stop being so many big I’s and little U’s in the body of Christ and everyone needs to realize that we are all working together for the good of them that love the Lord and for the same goal. If there is friction and turmoil going on nothing will be accomplished. Satan would like nothing more than to stop God’s plan and he will throw a stumbling block in the way at every turn. WE CAN NOT AND WILL NOT ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN.

God is not the author of confusion, but of PEACE as in ALL CHURCHES of the saints. 1 Cor 14:33

Please pray for my boyfriend Ed S. He was abused as a young
child and young adult. He carries with him a great anger and hatred. He is
a controlling person with a bad temper. I see him give beautiful thanks to
the Lord for meals and good things and then 10 minutes later get upset about a door being left open then he swears and says he does not believe in God.

Please pray for my brother John who was rushed to the hospital Sunday a.m and had emergency surgery for an intestinal blockage. They removed 6" of his intestine He is in the ICU unit at Memorial Hospital. He is 84yrs. old and otherwise in good health.

My neighbor, Bob, called me tonight requesting prayers for a man named, Curt, who had a bilateral lung transplant, about 5 yrs ago, who may be in the beginning of rejection.
His sister, who is Bobby's college teacher, asked the students , to pray and to place him on the prayer list if the knew anyone one.
So Lord we come before you, once again, you gave Curt a chance 5 yrs ago, and we ask again for you to bless him and heal his transplants to continue their function , of inflation, bringing oxygen to his heart and vessels as he breathes, to strengthen him in faith and love in YOU oh Lord as he continues his healing.
Guide the physicians with proper treatments for no rejections.

Hi Helen,
Would you please put my son, Mike, on your prayer list? He did a header
off a bike tonight (the bike slipped a gear) and he went over the handle
bars...hit his head (that's OK) but took the full force of the fall on
his left shoulder. He has ripped all the tendons over the collar bone.
Hopefully he will be able to get into the orthopedic surgeon tomorrow or
Wednesday. The ER doctor told him that it would definitely need
intervention.

We met him at the ER at Kalkaska Memorial Hospital (a division of Munson) about 7pm and got home about 9pm. He didn't want to come here, but went back home. Andrea said she would call if she needed anything. She will have to work tomorrow, of course, but we're on call if Mike needs anything.

Needless to say, he's in tremendous pain right now. I think he'll feel
better tomorrow.

Hello, dear family and friends.
We have been friends with one rough, tough, angry, lost, broken old cowboy. Earl and I love Jimmy. He has been a good friend to us—as good as he can be for the lostness of his soul. As I’ve shared with some, he is almost wholly blind. He lives and works on a ranch which is not a safe situation. A few weeks ago he asked his sister what he had his hand on. It was a snake. Thankfully not a rattler. He is going in for surgery on his eyes tomorrow, Tuesday. A dicey situation. Things could improve or worsen. He called about something else (giving us a cat) and mentioned he was having the surgery. I asked if I could pray for him. And I launched into a prayer. It wasn’t the greatest prayer, I confess. It was awkward and uncomfortable because he has been fighting God hard from all the way back. I thought he had hung up on me, to be honest. He was totally silent. And I was “Hello? Hello?” He honestly didn’t know what to do with it. So, I just said that Earl and I would be praying for him and said goodbye. His biggest need is for Jesus. But I think—and this is me, not God—that he needs to see that God is real in a concrete way and does love him. So, I’m hopeful for a miracle for him. You can pass this on to any who would pray—for his salvation mostly. However that happens. Thank you. - - Gayle
